What sort of Bully Can Resist Bullying
The devil made me get it done! How many times perhaps you have heard that line, o-r said it yourself? The demon didn't cause you to get it done. YOU have get a grip on of your words and your activities. But let's stay with the imagery. The next time the devil whispers in your hearing, quickly respond, 'Get behind me and do not press.' he can not say in-your head) You've heard the story about the Native American boy that has two dogs inside, one is mean and bad, and the other is good, (when he is behind you. The mean dog is definitely fighting the great dog. When asked which one wins, the child aptly replies, 'the one I give the most.' Which dog are you feeding? The post, Am I a bully? explains how you can actually consider whether your conduct toward others is diabolical, or just teasing. Even if you are only teasing, there are techniques you could prevent the damage that you might be producing by your teasing. Daniel Harrison... used to tease Courtney almost every day. He'd attended school with her since elementary school. (People Magazine, October 18, 2010, Confessions of a Bully) He would damage her hair, contact her 'Shorty', and only do-anything to get a chuckle from bystanders. He'd say he was a 'lively bully' and would bully 'with a smile on my face.'One day, on the bus ride home, he took Courtney's hat off her head and started initially to play hat throw with others standing about, and then he buried it inside his pants, providing the lewd look that it was holding areas that were questionable. That was not Daniel's objective, but that's how it seemed as deliberate. Courtney began to cry, and when she arrived home she was sobbing so difficult, she could not get the words out-to tell her mother what happened. Her eyes were swollen from the crying, and she couldn't catch her breath. Courtney's mother was so upset, she quickly called Mr. Jones, the Principal.Being informed that this was not the very first time this had occurred, Mr. Jones called Daniel's parents. Daniel's mother was a probation officer and Daniel was grounded for just two weeks from his video games to his own dismay. And then Daniel's mother required something else, Daniel had to attend Courtney's house and apologize to Courtney and Courtney's mom. That was the best thing that Daniel's mother could do because when Daniel went along to Courtney's property, he was met at the front end door by way of a extremely angry mother who informed him of how distraught Courtney was about what he did and how she'd cried so hard she could not even talk. Yes, Daniel apologized to Courtney's mother, and personally apologized to Courtney, and it changed his perspective forever.Daniel finally saw yet another part of what he was doing. He saw the harm that keeps on if the teasing or bullying goes uninhibited hurting. Daniel admits his mistake and speaks out against bullying being a bully teasing a simple woman, today. Daniel and Courtney are great friends today. There's a way for the Bully to feed the great dog, to prevent the recommendations of 'the demon.' The next time you feel the need to tease or taunt yet another, STOP, and transform your words to words of edification, words that uplift and inspire, form words. Be kind to every one since he or she could be preventing a fight, psychological or mental, that nobody considers. Offering sort words instead of unpleasant words or words that make fun of another may put you on another level of consciousness. I guarantee that you'll have more friends by the end of the-week than you've ever endured, and the great ones, not the ones who de-edify the others. (If it will not happen, write to me) Your true friends are individuals who you want to become like, and they want to be like you for the right reasons. If you are not the bully, but you're seeing the bully conduct, you will make a distinction with kind words too. Many times a bully is fighting his own poor dog and requires redirection, so your kind words may cause the bully to refocus. Even though it is therefore very, very hard to find a great word to say, find one. These include, 'you're too wise to talk like this, use your kind words', 'do you know how she feels when you say that?', 'do you know it will take 3 great words to defeat caused by 1 mean concept'? Sometimes taking wit for the time can change the energy, but don't demean the bully, rather inspire good actions and good words. And the next time you are asked about your actions, do not say 'the devil made me do it', rather, act in this way that you can often say, 'I am glad I said it.'
