As an Company, Do You Need Invisible Cameras?
Any employer of any business wants to believe his employees are all hard-working, honest and dedicated to the business. They don't wish to think their workers would steal from their store or spend their work time playing video games or sending emails to private friends. But the fact is, it happens.People need jobs to survive, to cover the expenses, to purchase the groceries and fuel. Many people get whatever work they may, whether it's a line of work they want to be in or not. They only require the money, so they're willing to put in the time although not always the devotion to the organization. And perhaps they are only making minimum wage and barely in a position to get by. They begin getting a resentful attitude and possibly decide to get what they feel arrives them or what they believe they can never make independently. They start stealing from your company.These people are few and far between, and hopefully if you're a company you will not need to see this. But imagine if you realize and on occasion even just think somebody is taking from your own company? Just how can you find out for sure?There are many types of hidden cameras available that might help you determine if something fishy is certainly going on in-your company. There are wall clock cameras, increase box cameras, pen and even electrical store cameras - almost anything you can think of can be a way to obtain a hidden camera. You might even use a dummy dome camera that's not an actual camera but seems like the real thing and employees don't have to find out it is not. They may possibly think twice about doing something against company policy if they think they're being watched.But better yet than that is to have a good connection with your employees. Get acquainted with each and every one of them. Make them feel important and part of the business enterprise. It's very important to develop a pleasant working atmosphere that includes employees sensation appreciated and realizing they can come to you as manager with any questions or issues they have.If you notice a worker who looks disappointed, negative, appearing to only need to place in the hours and escape there, speak to him or her. Figure out if there is whatever you can do to make the work environment nicer. Would they prefer to maintain a different area of the organization? Are they experiencing unappreciated? It's amazing what a simple "thank you" may do to the morale of an employee, particularly one that is making minimum wage and feels like he or she is at the end of the totem pole.Maybe an unhappy employee just needs a slight change in atmosphere or a change of a task inside their job. I am aware a woman who works in a dog boarding facility. She is definitely great with people and their animals and loves all animals. She is proficient at what she does and loves every thing having to do with pets. However the one thing she hates is being forced to clean out cat litter boxes. I had to laugh when I noticed that, however it holds true. For reasons uknown it is hated by her. So that section of her time that entails cleaning the litter boxes is sufficient to put her in a bad mood. However there are other individuals there who don't mind cleansing kitten boxes in any way. What exactly I would do is move her out of the cat area and just keep her working with the dogs and the public, which would keep her really happy.Sometimes it just takes a little understanding, a little tweaking of the routine, a little time to talk with your employees to locate out how you can create a working environment for them. Hopefully that'll keep employees from feeling the need to rob or be disrespectful towards the business. It is not always about money, though that is something to consider. The most important thing is to provide a nice, content, open environment to motivate employees to desire to conduct at their best. Then plan on an evaluation time for every worker so you can let them understand how they're doing and what places you feel they need growth in and also provide you with the opportunity to give them a raise.As an employer, you can set a good example by respecting your workers, being honest and friendly, having fun and offering proper wit, and being appreciative and stimulating. Then hopefully you'll never need a hidden camera.
