Every once in a while I am reminded that working from home is just a dream come true. Sometimes it is a subtle reminder - an embrace from my child or perhaps a bike ride with my daughter. My breath is just taken by other times it away.
Several days before, I'd a reminder that took my breath away. My I and husband were standing on a beach on the Gulf, a couple of miles from our home. We talked and drank our coffee, savoring the salt air and the sounds of the waves crashing near us. I had my sneakers off, and was enjoying the sense of the right white sand. Butterflies danced around us, and my hair kept coming in my face. It was the right day.
Among the things on our plan was the look of a fresh site. As he excitedly explained what he'd prepared my partner smiled. I looked right back at him, nearly understanding.
