Blogging for Profit (Part 1)
Work at home parents are learning to master Internet marketing by blogging for profit. Why wouldn't they? The return on the investment, which is practically nothing monetarily, could be huge! With very little money involved initially and the opportunities available endless, it's well worth the efforts to get a blogging for profit business underway right now. There are billions of people on the Web and it runs AROUND-THE-CLOCK giving work at home parents a perfectly flexible schedule. The business is pretty simple, but if you have no idea what you are doing it will probably take more time and effort to get rolling than most people would want to invest.

Blogging for Profit-- Find a Niche
There are several reasons why finding a niche makes perfect business sense for marketing blogs or articles. Chances are good that without a niche the blog will never be seen. That's why it is a perfect place to start when putting a business plan together to actually start blogging for profit. When marketing a blog or article it will be indexed by the search engines and will show up on search terms according to the keywords used. General terms are so commonly used for search queries that millions of articles are already there leaving very little of a chance for a new blog to ever be seen. However, by doing a little research with the Google keyword tool (type it in the Google search) and finding some search terms and keyword suggestions that have a low competition and a few thousand search queries per month or less, if an article or blog is written correctly there is a much better chance of getting it on the first page of the search results.
Blogging for Profit-- The Right Keywords
Naturally there is a little more to it than that to make it on the first page, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. The article or blog will need to be keyword rich and the content must have to do with what the keywords suggest. The keywords can't be overused either. This sounds a little tricky, but it is actually pretty simple. The keywords should be used in the title and throughout the text at a rate of once per 100 words. Once the niche is found, the keywords are discovered and the article or blog is written, it needs to be posted with some "weight". What I mean by that is it needs to be considered by the search engines as being relevant. This is done by posting it on the most popular site available and having as many "copies" as possible posted everywhere else around the Internet with links back to the original.
So Where Does the Money Come From?
Good question, after all this article refers to blogging for profit. The article or blog is used as a relationship marketing tool on the web. This is, and always has been the best form of selling anything, anywhere. It is actually "word of mouth" in electronic print form. That is why building a great online reputation or "branding" oneself is the key to success here. Deliver great messages, build a great reputation, build online relationships, then whatever product is suggested or associated with will be considered by the visitors of the blog or article. Don't think about what products just yet, that is actually covered in (part 2). There are several avenues to cover including affiliate marketing, Google Adwords, and direct selling to name just a few. Anyhow, there will never be a shortage of products to sell online, or a shortage of companies to make use of good work at home parents blogging for profit:)
