In the previous report with this topic, I covered the main types of links you want to get for your site. On the final part, I will clearly state which types of links to keep away from using, and some misconceptions will be further explained by me concerning the types of links.

Don't do this to your links.

(1) Placing a form in your site and then allowing one to add a url to your site using an automatic process. If these links were not manually approved by you, well, you are requesting link issues. Manually agree these links before posting them. What works, requires work

(2) Denying a link based solely on a or non existing PageRank. Just what a mistake! PageRank is not only outdated, it's also less appropriate that it was in the past. As long as it is related to your site, what really matters here, is that the site your are researching is indexed or not. That's the main element problem, not its reputation. This also applies away from regular sites group, to niche websites, smaller applications, etc.

(3) Internet sites that exchange links with you, but at a later time they execute a nofollow in your link, or they simply take it down. That's why you need to check your backlinks periodically to examine the status of these links exchanges.

(4) Internet sites with faked PageRank. Yes, they're throughout. The thing is that you're doing a trade link or getting a from a that doesnt have the PageRank they claim to (bad areas use a 301 or 302 blows that point their sites to sites with a PageRank) and instead getting your true PageRank put into them as a business, or your hard earned money.

Considering link exchanges.

That one is not simple, (see above) but also an effective way if done right. How? Well, to start out search for sites with plenty of quality content that's directly related to yours. In this area, articles which can be good introductions to your services or products create an opportunity. Dedicated to your visitors, search for their experience that would be increased by resource pages. Try to find boards that allow real links to be passed, as there are lots of then available, particularly from expert sites, academic and governmental entities. And last, however, not least, look for information pathways, in other words, pages that lead visitors to additional information on a product or service.

Post trading for links.

This 1 is excellent. When you exchange articles with a related site in your business (for the most benefit) plus you put your personal responses (preferably in a color, hint: blue) to the report you're posting on you site (to prevent duplicate content among other things) this allows you to possess added content on your site, plus the immediate benefit of an adequately applied mutual link.
