It's by the sea that I hear the tracks of the stars, the whisper of the universe and the songs in the wind. Its always good to go down seriously to the sea again; for me personally its comparable to therapy. I glanced at Marla who seemed to be relaxing with her eyes closed.Strange, I thought. We come from two entirely different worlds different thoughts, different emotions, different realities.. . . or do we? Gideon and Marla had special license, much above the standard. Yet, sometimes, it appeared our worlds had much in common.

It had been as though she heard my ideas, for she opened her eyes and said, Yes, we've a number of things in accordance together with your world, your world is my world also. In either earth, yours or mine, you can find feelings and very strong emotions. Is it possible to imagine what a world would be like without emotions?

I responded, Perhaps less violence, more peace, less greed,more giving, less suffering, more pleasure. ...

And you dont think some of these things are feelings? she asked.

Well, in ways, but arent some of them bad emotions?

Healthy or unhealthy, she replied,emotions are thoughts. The river of life runs between two banks. One is the bank of success, pleasure, peace, satisfaction and all positive things. Another may be the bank of disappointment, poverty, depression,grief, suffering, hurts and all negative things. The problem is not that one bumps into these banks during the journey of existence, but that one gets run aground, getting caught on one bank or another. Life is an ever-flowing process, that may never stop. It's attached to the sea of comfort, the seas of eternity and the heavens of forever. It must keep moving. A little time on either bank is fine. However, stagnation or behavior patterns build if you spend a very long time caught on one bank. Recall, John, were all on a trip in the Fields of
