Charcoal or gas? Fuel or charcoal? The discussion. It's said that over 65% of Americans pick a gas grill over a charcoal grill. For my husband and I when time came to come to a decision between gas and charcoal it was gas that was our decision. It was not a matter of taste for me personally, it was a matter of ease. Oh, there are when I lament the increasing loss of the flavor of a hamburger cooked over charcoal times, nothing is quite enjoy it. Some say there's very little of a taste difference with burgers cooked over gas vs. charcoal, but I have to argue. But, for all of us benefit overshadows any loss in flavor.

Another reason we chose the gas grill within the charcoal grill was that we didn't want to have to deal with filthy charcoal briquette and with trying to light them and then awaiting them to be hot enough to make. We also didn't want to have to deal with the chaos that comes with needing to clear a charcoal grill. Charcoal ash is quite dirty. A gas container lasts through about 20 hours of cooking.

Along with being ready to start the gas grill and start cooking within a few minutes, with our gas grill we've a great deal more get a handle on over the temperature of the grill for a longer time period than we'd have with a charcoal grill so that we could prepare a roast, or a leg of lamb on the grill without having to worry about spent charcoal. Also, the gas grill gives us much more cooking area. We could simply have 10 or 12 people around and have enough space to cook all the hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, etc.

When it concerns cleaning out gas grill all I really do is turn it onto comfortable for five or so minutes and any trapped on food wipes quickly. It is the most easy cleaning of any machine I could think about.
