Midsummer

The festivity is primarily a Celtic fire festival, midsummer representing the center of summer, along with the shortening of the days on their gradual goal to wintertime. Midsummer is usually celebrated in either your 23rd or perhaps 24th of June, although the longest evening actually is catagorized on the Twenty-first of Summer. The importance of the morning to our forebears can be monitored back plenty of years, and many rock circles along with other ancient monuments are usually aligned towards the sunrise upon Midsummer's Day. One of the most famous alignment is that at Stonehenge, where the sunshine rises within the heel rock, framed through the giant trilithons in Midsummer morning.
