新页面

Why Do We Feel That Life Can Be Cruel?

Watching torture scenes of the prisoners, considering the hunger deaths at many places of the world, looking at some cruel work around one's own community and sometimes recollecting the suffering we ourselves get from our friends and our enemies -the thought that life can be very cruel involves mind. Recently an account appeared in Indian newspapers about a classic man who returned from prison after 44 years. He was arrested in 1961 for a struggle with a friend and was sent for trial. Prior to the trial could start, he was found mentally imbalanced and provided for asylum. He slept in the asylum till basically remember properly, 1998 and he was repaid to jail for trial. But all papers associated with his situation were lost/misplaced at the same time. Somehow the news filtered out and judiciary was contacted concerning this man's predicament. This man was released recently. The photograph was seen by me in the papers. It seemed as if he was staring at nothing, or was lost in his own pain or another thing. But nothing appeared natural or happy. It was an image of a life lost. His family had taken him for dead because long, his wife had remarried his brother and life had carried on for them in battle. What does this man do now? Who does he return to? His wife of years ago isn't any more his wife. He has been battered by the long 44 years beyond recognition. What'll he enjoy? A person is changed by pain beyond belief. The battering that one gets from life makes one lose faith in fairness of life. Some unfortunate people endure so much pain which they no more remain human beings. They turn in for some unidentified specie that knows just how to simply take pain, that allows pain, that contains pain, that expects nothing good and that continues from daily just like a dead person. They take therefore much pain and memories of that pain that number level of sympathy will bring them back once again to the saner world. They have lost their faith in the world and do not wish to go back to that world again to get more shocks of pain. They're more pained by the memories of the pain and they fear the thought of getting more pain than the pain itself. Life can be quite cruel sometimes with many people.
