Old Town Pasadena which basically works down Colorado Blvd. from Pasadena Avenue on the West to Marengo Avenue on the east and on either side of Colorado Blvd. from Holly St. on the north to Green St. on the south is quickly becoming certainly one of Los Angeles Countys busiest and most engaging local gathering places. 

Day or evening, weekday or weekend the region is definitely "jumpin." People come from all over to dine, shop, visit galleries, go to the movies, go dance, listen to jazz and other forms of audio, be entertained by street preformers and the majority of all to relax and have some fun in a, clean and pleasant environment. There are dance clubs offering a variety of entertainment, shops of all forms, galleries, antique stores, bakeries providing some of the best pastries found everywhere, movie theaters showing first run movies, guide stores with coffee bars and if you want people seeing, people of almost every nationality, culture and money, letting loose and having a great time. 

Park in one of the parking garages, on some of the side streets or avail your self of the valet parking provided on the road in front of a number of the organizations and restaurants and then go to anyplace in Old Town. The Old Town merchants and the town of Pasadena and firms have gone to great lengths to make certain your safety and wellness without encroaching on your enjoyment of the area. 

Go to the movies or take in a play, have a romantic dinner at JJ's (one of the best steakhouses arround) and then go dancing at one of the nightclubs. Go with a lot of friends, have a delicious Italian meal in a casual environment at Buca di Beppo go shopping or window shopping and then join the merry people crowding the streets. Return to the 1940s and 1950s and have a pizza, chips and a move or malt while hearing jukebox music at Johnny Rockets or Ruby's Diner, party to reside music & DJ's with dance music from the 70's, 80's & 90's at Moose McGillycuddys, play pool on one of the 15 well preserved pool tables or observe a event on one of the giant screen TVs at Jake's Billiards or have a delightful cappuccino and pastry while folks watching from one of many bakeries with sidewalk seating. 

Learn Old Town, go there, flake out, appreciate and have some fun.
