[April 27-29, 2007: obtained from records prepared at the time] Advance: unsure the place to start this story, but I'll try to make it chronological, associated with Iguacu Falls, for once we left Iguacu City, we caught a to [http://carolinalopezargentina.wordpress.com/2012/09/10/belinda-and-pedros-wedding-weekend/ lucky couple], and got another three star hotel. There we'd meal at a number of places and loved the sunlight left in this city, entering its drop time. The Hotel was much better than the main one in Iguacu City, for the reason that it was cleaner, but the buffet, Rosa missed. We visited an audio also, and Rosa liked it, named "Sweet Charity." But on the 28th of April, points changed from a happy a vacation in a memorable one.Notes: "It occurred around 3:00 PM, 4-28-2007 (I am writing this now in the hotel, at night, several hours later). I and Rosa took a cab to go to the Russian Orthodox Church on one other side of the city, fairly, approximately it seemed, from where our hotel was. Everyone else was telling Rosa how safe the town was, hence we put our guard down, a blunder without a doubt. Whatever the case, after taking some photographs from the park, and purchasing at the little venders throughout the park by the church, we started to go toward 9th of July Street, finding out it was above us, and thus, we got the low side road, as it combined to the 9th of July, of a mile down the road."This history might be a little zigzagged, since I wrote it down at enough time, I mean later in the day, hrs after the event, and issues were somewhat foggy, but I'll multiply it as it is, for I can certainly not remember it, now, moment for moment. We were walking across the street, it seemed sort of a few cafes, mysterious, and a few folks sitting there and here, suspicious looking. I was sort of buying cab, but nothing came by. And when we came to a street, I didn't grab a taxi, since it was heading west, and I wanted to get North, so I figured it was another four blocks to the intersection of where the 9th of July street might blend into this side street, so we entered the street, three young men were sitting on the curve. One about five foot nine inches tall, 170 pounds, another about 130 pounds, probably five foot six inches tall. The third, perhaps 185 pounds, about six feet tall."They now were facing us, and Rosa said to me, "They look like those robbers (so and so described ).""A second after she said that, the robbers said "Now, Now, let's do it!" and they turned about, I quickly looked at Rosa, we'd made an entire stop, and I said, "Run, Rosa Run!" But it was too late; she had two of the guys around her. She held onto her purse, and crotched downward; she'd finish up with bruises on her arms and legs, but she held to that purse for eight to ten minutes; as I fought off and on the three robbers."The tall one came at me, I pulled my pen out tried to stab him, and he backed off, Rosa called for help, and I tried to get to her, and one of the two men pulling the strap of her purse came to help the big guy, his arms now around mine, and the other guy pushed me off balance, so he could go back and help his pal, I gave the big guy a back strike, and he let go, and Rosa called for help again, and I went to her, and again one of the two assailants had to let go to fight me, and I kicked and hit, but the big guy now was in back of me, and again I fell off balance, and my pen broke, not certain if I stabbed the assailants, or if one broke the idea off so I couldn't stab them, they certainly were frightened I might say."I was free for a moment, and I screamed to anybody that might be passing by, and there was a lady seeing up the block (I would find out later, she and her husband came by in their car, stopped a away, the husband remained in the car as she watched the extension of the present, two cowards )."Anyhow, I went back to Rosa, to fight the two other men, because the big guy was now many feet away, and he got on my back again, and somebody twirled me, and I flew into the street. I got right back up and ran after them; they got on the wall, and were removed with my wife's purse in hand."The police arrived, saw them running, and he ran after them to the train station, but could into find them, or didn't desire to find them."The woman who observed, spoke to Rosa then, neither certainly one of us hurt badly, Rosa's glasses broken, and my hips cut up. She seemed worried, but why did she not stop the vehicle by the burglars and honk the horn, or do something besides watch the show. The partner wouldn't get out of the automobile, and I'm certain he was embarrassed of his wife observing and doing nothing."In realization, I suppose I will think about it as my last great battle, at 59-years old. On one hand it felt good to strike away on several crooks, I believe they got the worse of it, however we dropped $37-dollars, a, camera and some great images of Iguacu Falls.
