With media producing hype 24 seven, and the force that we experience on that same timeline to always look our best, it is no doubt that their is soo several 'after-market' methods to make ourselves look better. 

We have been made to look one way, in the picture of our designers (thanks mom & pop ); inyet we find ourselves looking to enlarge or reduce areas of the body, change the colour of our skin and eyes, among loads of the others adjustments only to squeeze into what society believes to be desirable. You'd be hard pressed to locate someone that's not been swept up in this cycle at one point inside their life. I am held it's place in it, heck - I however am in it. I do believe their is really a fine line to be walked with taking pleasure in the way that you appear, without becoming obsessed with it. Use decent clothes, clean your teeth, probably do your own hair every once in a, and for goodness sakes a daily bath, whether you will need it or not, goes a long way. 

There is soo numerous treatments and surgeries out there today, that I think it's possible for us to ignore how unpleasant culture is actually making us. Here is how I'm looking at: 

- Conservative - Keeping great health through everyday showers, deodorant,etc. 

- Riding the point - Getting hair removed by lasers in order to avoid being forced to cut extremely 

- Extreme - Different procedures both cosmetic and maybe not 

It is when you're debating stepping into the side, that I think you need to step right back and think twice to yourself about: "How ugly has society made me." If you're ready to go under a knife to change the way you look, culture did some thing ugly with the beautiful baby that your parents first introduced into this world. It is essential to love yourself for just how that you will be, and to will have a level head on yourself. It is frustrating how many people that think that make-up and surgeries,etc will change their life. Lack and uncertainty of confidence shines through however, and you are still the same inside.
